Story of Legacy
The journey of our legacy started in the year 1976, when our visionary founder Mr. B.K. Dass Gupta laid the foundation for a pioneering enterprise, dealing in Plywood and allied products, with his trading hub namely 'Gupta Sales', in the heart of Jaipur.
Within a short span of time, 'Gupta Sales' emerged as the undisputed leader in the market with a robust network of dealers, not only across the state of Rajasthan but also in neighbouring states.
Fast Forward, in the year 2003 his son Mr. Nitin Gupta, having vast experience in the plywood trade since childhood, started a new venture under the name Wood India.
With the advent of flat culture in the real estate sector, he understood the importance of offering a comprehensive range of products in interior designing. Hence, he brought in a bouquet of products in his basket, so that we could serve as a one stop solution to all the interior panel product range requirements.
A significant milestone was achieved in the year 2010, when Wood India made strategic partnerships with some of the most renowned brands in the industry, namely Merino, Greenlam, GreenPly, CenturyPlyboards, GreenPanel, Airleaf, RoyalTouch.
These collaborations allowed Wood India to become an authorized stockist and distributor for these premium brands.
With a steady pace, we consistently expanded our product range, moving from basic offerings to more advanced, innovative, and trendsetting interior and exterior panel products.
In the year 2022, Wood India reached another pinnacle of success with the establishment of its state-of-the-art experience center 'Wood Interiors' in Vaishali Nagar, adjacent to the Mall of Jaipur.
This magnificent facility was designed to provide architects, interior designers and customers with a hands-on, immersive experience of the latest trends and innovations.
